A Logistics & Supply Chain Management education in Vietnam leads to a potentially wide range of new career opportunities, as supply still fails to meet demand. Research has always played a major role in academic programs at DTU. The DTU Board has issued guidelines and policies encouraging staff, lecturers and students to conduct more research and it is now compulsory. The university is continually investing in research materials and equipment, inviting professors from Vietnam and abroad to come to provide guidance, so that DTU lecturers will be able to participate fully in national and international conferences and seminars.

DTU currently has three libraries: Room 601 at the 3 Quang Trung campus, Room 607 at the Nguyen Van Linh campus, and at the Hoa Khanh Nam campus, with total surface area over 1,820 m². They offer about 55,000 printed titles and over 100,000 electronic records, theses, CDs, and specialized journals and magazines.

Dedicated for 28 years to providing high quality education to the community, DTU has continually increased the quantity and quality of its people. Currently, there are 1,223 faculty members and staff, of whom 28% hold PhDs, with full or Associate professorships. Several graduated from leading universities in the USA, Russia, France, Germany, Canada, Korea and Belgium. 361 lecturers participated in the “Train the Trainers” courses in the US and another 60 in Singapore.

Officially opened in January 2011, this is the largest Duy Tan University campus, with an area of 33.977 sq.meters. The campus is about 1.5 kms. from the Thanh Binh beach to the East and near the Bus Station to the South. The ambition of the Management Board is to make this the main campus to bring together all the educational and administration departments. Together with 3 lecture halls for 1,000 students, the campus has a series of laboratories for Architecture and Civil Engineering students.

Over twenty-seven years and thanks to its great efforts, Duy Tan University has made steady progress in education and training. The University has enrolled 3,108 PhD and Master’s students; 109,130 students of Undergraduate & Associate Bachelor’s Degree programs and 12,400 students in Vocational programs. Duy Tan University has fueled the local labor market with a total of 77,604 graduates and postgraduates so far.

This buiding is the first buiding of Duy Tan University when it first started out in November 1997. The 6-storey building with an area of 1.574 sq.meters at 137 Nguyen Van Linh Street is home to DTU Polytechnic; DTU Foreign Language Center and the Department of Financial Planning (where most of tuition fee, salary/wage and other financial transactions are carried out).
