Advantages & strengths

Looking at development goals for 2030, there is a need for pharmacology professionals with doctoral, master’s, and specialist qualifications, who possess strong expertise and management skills to fill key positions at hospitals, departments of health, and pharmaceutical companies. Consequently, doctoral and master’s programs in pharmacy are attracting increasing interest to advance students’ qualifications and prepare for management roles. Currently, DTU is the only university in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands offering a doctoral program in Pharmacy and one of only two universities in the region with a master’s program in Pharmacology Management.

Program objectives

The program aims to develop highly qualified and specialized pharmacology-management professionals with a strong command of both theory and practice, the ability to work independently, and the ability to identify and solve problems in pharmacy and the pharmacology business.

Graduates with a master’s degree in Pharmacology Management are able to organize and manage pharmacology manufacturing and business operations, contributing to the common healthcare of the community.

Admission requirements

•    Hold a bachelor’s degree in the same major and minor as the program of application.

•    Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in a major related to or different from the one of their application will receive knowledge supplementation by the university before admission.

•    Admissions are based on three criteria: undergraduate academic performance, work experience, and foreign-language proficiency. Foreign-language proficiency is proven with a certificate at least at level 3 under Vietnam’s six-level framework. Applicants who do not have a foreign-language certificate at the required level 3 or above must take an English-proficiency examination administered by the university before admission.
