Program objectives
The program equips research students with a broad range of knowledge in business administration, enabling them to conduct independent academic research and to create and develop new knowledge concerning marketing strategy management, HR, administration, and international trade. Becoming a Doctor of Business Administration, combined with the ability to publish research in international ISI- and Scopus-indexed journals, opens up a wide range of opportunities for work and postdoctoral research at educational institutions and at for-profit and nonprofit organizations in Vietnam and abroad.
Admission requirements
Applicants must hold either a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude or higher or a master’s degree. They must demonstrate research experience through either: a master’s thesis as part of a research-oriented program; authorship of a scientific paper or report related to the intended research field that has been published or accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed scientific journal or the proceedings of a specialized scientific conference or workshop within the 36 months preceding the application date; or at least 24 months of work as a lecturer or researcher at an educational institution or a science & technology organization. They must hold a foreign-language proficiency certificate at least at level 4 under Vietnam’s six-level framework by the Ministry of Education & Training.
