DTU’s master’s program in Environmental Engineering offers students the opportunity to choose between two study tracks: theoretical research and applied implementation. Students learn from DTU’s experienced lecturers who received thorough training at reputable educational institutions in Vietnam and abroad.
Program objectives
The training program in Environmental Engineering equips students with expanded and advanced knowledge and skills in environmental technologies, in-depth technical knowledge, and applied interdisciplinary knowledge. This enables students to engage in practical work and independent research, think creatively, and identify and solve real-world problems in environmental technology & engineering. Graduates are qualified to work as technical specialists, managers, researchers, educators, consultants, policy planners, and other positions across the natural sciences in general and environmental engineering & technology in particular.
Admission requirements
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in the same major and minor as the program of application.
• Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in a major related to or different from the one of their application will receive knowledge supplementation by the university before admission.
• Admissions are based on three criteria: undergraduate academic performance, work experience, and foreign-language proficiency. Foreign-language proficiency is proven with a certificate at least at level 3 under Vietnam’s six-level framework. Applicants who do not have a foreign-language certificate at the required level 3 or above must take an English-proficiency examination administered by the university before admission.
