DTU students engaged in discussions and Q&A with internship alumni

During the event, DTU students had the chance to engage in conversations and ask numerous questions to students who had recently completed their internship programs in Japan. After completing their internships in the Land of the Rising Sun, these students, majoring in fields such as Pharmacy, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Food Technology, shared valuable lessons and practical experiences they gained from Japan's work ethic and lifestyle.

In addition to receiving practical and useful insights about studying and interning in Japan, Duy Tan students learned about cultural and linguistic differences, weather, living environments, and cuisine, helping them better prepare for upcoming Japanese internship programs.

Exploring the Art of Calligraphy with experts from Japan

The event was also an opportunity for DTU students to delve into the art of calligraphy under the guidance of two calligraphy experts: Mr. Satou, General Director of Sun Frontier Vietnam, and Mr. Noguchi, a lecturer in the Japanese Department at DTU. The experts shared insights into the origins, development, popular styles, and aesthetic values of calligraphy, a form of art that demands patience, meticulousness, and a profound understanding of the language being expressed.

The calligraphy experts and DTU lecturers provided hands-on guidance to students on various aspects, such as ink grinding, proper posture, pen handling, and techniques for writing with balanced strokes. According to the experts, calligraphy is not just about beautiful handwriting and finesse; it also reflects the writer's personality and inner thoughts through strokes as graceful as "dancing phoenixes and flying dragons."
